I want to host a masterclass with Loretta... now what???

It is always good to know what you are getting into as you prepare to host a class, so we have put together a little info to help you!

Things to consider before moving forward

1. Do you have the time to host? You will need to devote a good amount of time and energy to secure facilities, set up pay methods, and network with the dance and fitness people in your area to make it successful.
2. Are you connected within the community in your area? It is much easier to host other ZIN™ members, jammers and ZES than it is to host some of the more well known people. Many people mistakenly believe that all they have to do is put out the big name and it will do the rest! It will still require work on your part to make sure everything is taken care of.
3. Can you afford to host the class if you don't sell a certain amount of tickets? Risk is an unavoidable part of hosting a masterclass. One popular solution is getting sponsors when hosting Loretta, to take the pressure off ticket sales. We never want hosts to lose money on an event. However, some people are prepared to host her even if they lose a little money. For some, the experience is more important than the money. Typical expenses include her fee, flight and hotel.

Typical steps in the hosting process

1. Fill out the form below. Tell us your city, your dates and the kind of class you dream of. Morgan, who takes care of all of Loretta's bookings, will get back to you.
2. Sign your agreement online. Morgan sends you a private link with your event's details. You read it and sign it right on the page with your typed name. There is no agreement until this is done, and we cannot reserve any dates on Loretta's calendar until it is signed and her flight is paid for.
3. Secure a venue (typically with a deposit or agreement).
4. Get a team of people to help you host the class.
5. Set up a ticket delivery method. For a Zumba® class we recommend the Zumba® Events platform, since it is free. You can access it through your ZIN™ account.
6. Create a flyer for social media and set up pages for advertising on different platforms.
7. Spread the word!!!

For your information

• Any decision to have other people involved in the class (ZIN™ members, jammers, ZES, DJs, etc.) should be agreed upon with Loretta beforehand.
• You must be able to pay any other person you agree to bring in, separately from Loretta. She will not give a fee discount so you can pay other people.
• Once we agree upon a date, we will not back out or change it except by mutual agreement and in case of emergency.

This whole process can be as simple or detailed as you want it to be. Each class is unique and each city is different, so there is no "one size fits all" expectation on our part.
